Craig Hairfield

Chief Executive Officer
​Craig is a mining finance professional with over 17 years of broad experience in the mining industry, working initially as a mining engineer and later as an investment professional at Resource Capital Funds, a leading mining-focused private equity firm. Craig left RCF in 2018 to start his own advisory firm, assisting clients in the areas of M&A and business strategy. Craig has extensive international experience financing and developing mining projects related to a variety of commodities.

Dr Chris Wilson,

Executive Chairman,
Chief Geologist

Commercially-driven and innovative exploration geologist with over 30 years of global experience in area selection and prospect generation, target generation, and the design and management of large resource definition drilling and pre-feasibility programs. 

Chris has worked in over 75 countries, on most commodities and deposit styles. He has specialist experience with vein systems – especially low to intermediate sulphidation epithermal Au-Ag-basemetal types. Chris has extensive project review and target generation experience, with ability to integrate complex multi-disciplinary datasets, and rapidly identify and test high value targets. Strong deposit model knowledge ensuring key controls on mineralization are placed within the wider context of a projects geological, structural and hydrothermal evolution. Recently Chris has been involved in resource versus production reconciliation studies, project valuation and fatal flaw analysis. 

Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural, high talent teams under diverse cultural and physiographic regimes. Qualified Person for JORC and NI 43-10 compliant reporting and valuation. Formerly 10 years with Ivanhoe Mines. As Exploration Manager for Ivanhoe Mines Mongolia he was responsible for an Exploration Portfolio of over 11 million hectares.

Charles Hethey, LLB

Legal Counsel and Executive Director

Charles Hethey is a securities lawyer in British Columbia and New York with over 10 years’ experience. Mr. Hethey represents a number of U.S. and Canadian listed entities on the TSX Venture Exchange, Canadian Securities Exchange and U.S. OTC markets. Mr. Hethey’s clients are active in a broad range of industries including an emphasis on mining issuers. 

Mr. Hethey has significant experience in U.S. and Canadian corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and securities compliance matters. Mr. Hethey is a Director of Fosterville South Exploration and former roles include director of New Energy Metals Corp. (TSXV: ENRG), a mineral exploration company with exploration projects in Quebec and Chile, and a director of Skyledger Tech Corp. (CSE: SKYL), a Bitcoin miner.

Darren Hazelwood

Independent Non-Executive Director

A driven entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience building private companies. Darren has been a successful investor in the mining and exploration space focused on the London Markets during this time. 

Darren joined the board of Panther Metals Plc in March 2018 as a non-executive Director, taking the over as Chief Executive Officer of the business within 10 months, successfully leading its listing on the main London Stock Exchange in January 2020. Panther Metals is focused on precious metal opportunities. 

Darren is commercially minded with a focus on value creation, with demonstrated ability to develop, deliver and execute on a growth strategy. He brings an extensive network of London-based private investors and investment houses with a focus on the resource sector.

Patrick Hickey, MBA, PE

Independent Non-Executive Director

Patrick Hickey is a registered engineer with 40 years of experience in the design and construction of mines throughout the world. He has built world class operations that have delivered significant value to shareholders in Petroleum and Power generation. His experience includes Indonesia, South and North America, Middle East, Africa and Europe. He has significant experience in Peru. He has worked for some of the world’s leading operators including Mobil in the USA and in the Middle East, Power in the Czech Republic, BHP Oil Refining in Hawaii, Newmont Gold in Indonesia and Peru. He has also worked in Madagascar where he managed operations for a Nickel/Cobalt Company. 

In 2010, he joined Kinross Gold Corporation as Regional Vice President for Africa, covering all activities of the company in Mauritania, Ghana and Spain where Kinross operates mines, as well as exploration in other regions of the continent. Mr. Hickey is currently the President / Director of PHNG.

Donna Humphreys

VP Corporate Development and Non-Executive Director

Donna Humphreys is a self-motivated, and creative thinker with demonstrated excellence in conceptual planning, analytic skills and strategic communication.

Mrs. Humphreys’ diverse work experience incorporates Management roles in corporate development, investor and stake holder relations, marketing and communications for multiple junior mining companies based out of Vancouver, BC. An intimate knowledge and understanding of Investment funds for private companies in both the finance and mining industry, contribute to her extensive skill set. She has over 20 years experience in investment and capital markets, representing start up and existing businesses in both the mining and finance industries.

Mrs. Humphreys also has active roles in other private companies consulting on fund management, corporate development, shareholder and stakeholder engagement.

Luis Fernando Kinn Cortez

Non-Executive Director

Luis Kinn is a geoscientist with both technical and administration orientation. Luis started his career in 2015 and developed technical experience on geophysical exploration and evaluation of oil and gas projects, namely seismic acquisition, 3D modelling and interpretation with a mathematical approach such as AVO analysis. After becoming the technical manager for his previous company, Luis became the general manager of Minera Golden Hill S.R.L., an entity that owns the Golden Hill Property. For the last three years, Luis has optimized operations through technological advancements and has been heavily involved with labour relations, government permitting and community engagement.

Luis performed his scientist undergraduate studies in France and Brazil and his administration post graduate studies in Bolivia which entitled his work orientation on multidisciplinary tasks and multicultural environments.
